2006 Honors Concerto
Mitchell Alpaugh is the 2006 Honors Concerto Winner and brilliantly performed Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with the Concert Band. (to hear an excerpt from the performance click here) Mitchell has been involved with piano performance for 12 years and is a member of one of the founding bands for the Infinity Performing Arts Program
JHS Band Scholarship Award
This Year the Charles L. and Dorothy M. Jacobson Memorial Scholarship Award for Music Instruction and Learning went to Kristen Almleaf and Tim Prezbrelinski.
2006 Hall of Fame Induction
The JHS Band 2006 Inductee into the Band Hall of Fame is Dennis Webster. Dennis was recognized for his years of service and support of the bands, including announcing at the annual Fall Festival of Bands as well as other music programs
