The 2006 JHS Express Winter Guard
The Express Winter Guard, in is sixth year of competition after a 15-year absence.
Guards compete on a regulation gym floor, performing between four to eight minutes each. Participants use flags, rifles, and sabers as normal entities of competition as a field Marching Bands or Drum and Bugle Corps do, but other props, backdrops, and variations of equipment are use to create special effects and dramatic story lines.
